Okay, so you don’t know what to get? Well let me try and help you out here.  First words of advice, make sure you have a coupon for the store you will buy from. Why pay 100% when you can get it for 50 or 60%. Use that money to buy her more stuff!

These are some of my most favorite tools, you will have to sneakily investigate whether she already has them or not.

1. Cricut Expression machine, this is an expensive-ish machine. But let me tell you, she wants it badly, if she does not have it yet.

2. Martha Stewart Scoring board, such a helpful tool for making perfectly scored lines, boxes, rossettes, and so much more.

3. Martha Stewart punches, so many to choose from but some popular must haves are:  Garden Trellis and  Double Arches. They also fold smaller, so a lot better for organizing.

4. Copic markers, these little markers are so expensive but adding a couple here  and there to her stash, will make any woman’s day.

5. Inkadinkado clear blocks, adding a few more of these to her arsenal, is a plus.

6. You can also surprise her with a clear acrylic stamp set with images you would not mind seeing on a male card, for instance.  You might even throw in a gift coupon for a card making session with her favorite guy- You- that is!

7. Scotch Advance Tape Glider aka the ATG gun, again a cool addition to her supply arsenal, and now it comes in Pink!  This is very cost effective in the long run.  I got mine at Michaels with a 50% coupon, need I say more?

8. Pebbles Inc. Pearlescent chalk- it is like make-up for paper. Some very cool effects can be achieved with these.

9. Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist -one of my favorite new product. These mist come in an array of colors that you and/or your wife can spray on crafting projects.  May I suggest pearl or iridescent gold?

10. Cuttlebug Embossing machine-my favorite non electronical machine, that can cut and/or emboss.  This was one of my first big investment. I have had mine for 2 years and still love how it makes my project stand out.

There are so many other craft supplies you can get, for instance, money not being an issue, the new Cricut Imagine which was recently  released. From what I have seen it has tremendous potential. The price is way too steep for my budget, though.

Spellbinders dies, Cuttlebug embossing folders, Martha Stewart glitter, Zig 2 Way glue pen, Making Memories 12×12 cutting board, and Sure Cuts a Lot software are some of the many other tools, I simply would not be able to function without.

Last words of advice,  make sure you keep the receipt, just in case she has the item already, or something very similar to it, and needs to exchange it. Disclaimer: Everyone has their own unique taste, these are things that I enjoy using at this time.  Don’t feel hurt if  your gift is returned or exchanged. Your attempt to brave this task deserves merit and great respect in my eyes.

Hello Y’all,

I finally completed this project and uploaded a cardmaking video tutorial to You Tube.  Now, I must say, I have so much respect for all those YouTubers that post videos on a regular basis.  I am not promising I will do one every week or even every month for that matter, but I will be working on producing more in the near future.

With Father’s Day around the corner, I have updated the Free Downloads page with 4 new svg files.  You need to scroll all the way down the Free Downloads page to find: Fleur-de-Lis (as seen in the image to the left),  cute leaf branch, and 2 fancy flourishes.  Again, you can import these svg files in your digital die cutting machine (eg. Cricut), keep in mind you will need a program like SCAL(Sure Cuts a Lot) or MTC (Make the Cut).  Have fun using these for your Father’s Day card making projects, or any other elegant project you can get your fingers to work on.  Cheers!
